Author Robert Downes will present the story of various Native civilizations in North America before the arrival of European explorers in the devastating "Lost Century" of the 1500s. Q&A will follow the presentation. Downes will also sign copies of his new historical novel, THE SUN DOG, which includes Iroquois culture and the fall of Coosa, a Native empire centered in George.
