The Northport Area Heritage Museum is honored to host Vicki Wilson, an esteemed genealogical researcher specializing in Anishinaabek (Anishinaabe) families. With over 50 years of dedicated experience, Vicki is a nationally respected authority who has made it her life’s mission to recover and share the authentic histories of Anishinaabek ancestors.
Vicki is the founder and moderator of two vibrant online communities; Michigan Native American Ancestors and Company K 1st Michigan Sharpshooters. Additionally, she maintains several accompanying blogs. Through her tireless work, she ensures that both her descendants and all Anishinaabek people can reconnect with the true stories of their lineage.
